Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب البيوع باب ما جاء لا يبيع حاضر لباد
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِىِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِىَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لاَ يَبِيعُ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ. قَالَ وَفِى الْبَابِ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ وَجَابِرٍ وَأَنَسٍ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَحَكِيمِ بْنِ أَبِى يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَعَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ الْمُزَنِىِّ جَدِّ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَرَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِىِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم.
The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, “No townsman is to sell on behalf of a Bedouin (1).” Footnotes: (1) A resident trader should not hold merchandise for a Bedouin or a traveling merchant and then sell it on his behalf when local market prices increase.
